Commitment to serve communities across Mississippi.
The Mississippi Urban League is proud to continue its commitment to serving communities across Mississippi through initiatives that help address food insecurity and support families in need.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Mississippi Urban League provided 36 Kroger gift cards, each valued at $200, to residents of Bolton experiencing food insecurity. These resources helped families purchase essential groceries and household necessities during a time of increasing economic challenges.
We are especially grateful to Mayor Alisa Kidd for her partnership and collaboration in helping identify community needs and ensuring these resources reached residents who could benefit most.
Food insecurity remains a significant challenge for many Mississippi families, and partnerships like these allow us to make a meaningful impact where it is needed most. Together, we are working to build stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.
Thank you to everyone who supports the Mississippi Urban League's mission to empower communities and improve lives across our state.
