Creating a Culture of Breastfeeding in MS- seeks to improve community health by addressing systemic barriers to breastfeeding.
This creative partnership involving MS Department of Health and the University of Mississippi Medical Center supports breastfeeding through the establishment of: Community breastfeeding support (Baby Cafés); Lactation spaces and policies at local Businesses; Baby Friendly Hospitals via prenatal and postpartum breastfeeding education and support.
