The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain - Movie

On September 17, 2021, a movie dramatizing the last hours of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. will be released.

His son, Kenneth Chamberlain Jr., is a member of the Urban League of Westchester family and leads many of our activities regarding police reform. The Chamberlain family has worked continuously to obtain justice for the killing of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. The Urban League of Westchester has steadfastly supported these efforts for over eight years.

Recently, the Westchester County District Attorney, Mimi E. Rocah, announced that the Westchester DA's office would review two police-involved shootings that led to the deaths of Danroy Henry and Kenneth Chamberlain Sr.

Additionally, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals stated that Mr. Chamberlain was treated like a criminal suspect as opposed to a critically ill patient and overturned the original decision that the City of White Plains was not at fault in the civil wrongful death suit.

The movie will be on select streaming services and theaters on September 17th.
